We provide personal and professional support, training and development and flexible employment opportunities.**About the role**Harvard Recreation, managed by HealthFitness, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated **Personal Trainer** to join the fitness team on the beautiful **Harvard campus in Cambridge, MA**. In this flexible role, you'll inspire and support members in achieving their health and wellness goals through personalized fitness programming and one-on-one training sessions. Hours are based on client demand and scheduled appointments, offering a flexible work schedule.Responsible for designing customized workout programs and training members based on their needs. Responsible for conducting fitness testing and assessments, advising participants of results, providing one-on-one personal training to members, and educating them about the fundamentals of strength and cardiovascular training, as well as the proper and safe use of applicable equipment.**Minimum Requirements*** Current Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider.* Adult First Aid & CPR/AED certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of start date.* Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.The compensation range for this role is $38 - $40/hour. The final wage offer will be determined based on factors such as location, qualifications, experience, skill set, and other relevant factors.
